Depending on your website design, you may be able to have one gallery per page or multiple galleries on a page. Below outlines how to use the standard Smallbox CMS 7 image gallery. Functionality may vary slightly between Smallbox 7.2 and 7.3.
Step 1: Create your Gallery
- Go to the gallery page when logged in.
- With on-screen edit hover over area until you see gallery options display (Edit or New)
- With back-end edit go to Child Content >> Galleries (Smallbox 7.3 only)
- Choose New: This will take you to a screen to create your gallery, such as adding a title, link, cover image, search engine optimization (SEO) text and Facebook Open Graph text.
- Save or Save & Publish: This creates your gallery
- Exit: This will take you to the gallery page
Step 2: Add photos to your gallery using the Image Library
- Click on "Configure Gallery"
- Click "Choose Folder": This will take you to the image library where you can create a new folder and add images or use an existing folder of images. View Image Library for information on how add folders and images.
- Click "Apply": This will exit the configure screen and take you to you new gallery.
